Can I pay for my server using my PayPal account or via bank wire?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX for payments. However, PayPal does have options for MasterCard and Visa debit/ATM cards or virtual credit cards for your PayPal account. Please refer to http://www.paypal.com for more information about their services.

When will I be billed?
Your billing cycle starts on the day your sign up as a customer. That day of the month will be your bill date, and your card will be run on that day every month. The same will apply for additional servers bought at different times of the month.

If I cancel my server do I get a refund?
No we do not issue refunds for prepaid services. If you wish to cancel your server you will need to do so seven (7) days before your next billing cycle.

When will my server be ready?
Our general turn around time is 48 to 72 hours after your order has been placed and verified.

What comes installed on the server?
We do a standard installation of the Operating System you choose. If you want additional software packages added to your server you must request it. We will attempt to accommodate these requests if possible and notify you of any additional charges if required.

Can I send you hardware to add to my server?
No, we do not allow customers to add their own hardware to the dedicated servers.

Can I purchase ram or a hard drive and have you install it in the server?
No, all hardware components of our rented servers must be property of HomepageUniverse. You will need to rent the hardware from us and we will install it. Please open a support ticket to request upgrades.

Can I get a custom configuration in the setup of my server?
Possibly, just contact our Sales department prior to placing your order. We will attempt to install based on your special instructions. If additional charges will apply we will notify you in advance.

Do I have root access to my server? Can I install my software after the server is online?
Yes, you will have root access to your server. You may install additional software on the machine once the server is online. Third party software is not supported by our technical support team.

Do you monitor my server and notify me of outages?
Yes, all servers are monitored for free with a basic ping. Technicians will notify you according to your custom designed escalation procedure. Please create a support ticket to request your free monitoring service.

Do you have 24/7/365 support?
Yes, we have NOC personnel onsite 24/7/365 for reboots and assistance with your servers.

What is the preferred method of support?
Our online ticket system is the best method of support. It is designed to authenticate verified users and define privileges. All customers can create trouble tickets, request server reboots, contact sales, requests quotes, etc.

How much do you charge for additional IP addresses?
Additional IP addresses are $4 per month, with no setup fee. IP addresses must be ordered in blocks of 5 IP addresses.

How Much Bandwidth is offered with my server?
All dedicated Servers include Unmetered bandwidth with in the Internet pipe per month.

How is my monthly bandwidth calculated?
Bandwidth is calculated on the 95th percentile rule.

What is the charge for going over the allotted bandwidth?
The over usage price is a set price you negotiate with us when you purchase the server.

How will I access my server remotely?
For Windows servers you can access the server with Remote Desktop Connection or Terminal Services. For Linux servers you can access the server via SSH.

Do you have control panels available for your servers?
Yes, Cpanel with WHM and DirectAdmin is available for Linux. Plesk with PowerPack is available for both Windows and Linux. HELM is available for Windows only.

Do you allow Adult Content on your servers?
Yes, legal adult content is allowed on our servers.

Do you allow IRC services on your servers?
Company allows stand alone IRC servers which are not connected to global IRC networks such as Undernet, EFnet, DALnet and other IRC networks. IRC servers which establish and maintain connections to global IRC networks such as Undernet, EFnet, DALnet and others will be considered to be in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
